  • Originally the boat was a shallow draft freighter named Lady Selkirk
  • Was a tender to Lord Selkirk
  • Became the Lady Northland in 1972
  • Was driven up the mudbanks in 1984 in Lockport for renovations
  • The wheelhouse was cut off and she was shipped by a semi-trailer in two pieces to Lake of the Woods
  • The trip took a total of 5 days to travel 200 km (120 miles)
  • Relaunched in Clearwater Bay as the M.S. Kenora in June of 1984
